Just kidding.
But really, we cried a little.
Anyway, on our first day in St. Louis, we awoke to rainy skies and a beautiful sunrise. We took to the streets and headed towards the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial where we walked around the grounds designed by Dan Kiley. From there we went down to the museum and some of us went all the way to the top of the Arch. After being released for lunch, we were also assigned a water color postcard which was difficult to do in the rain to say the least.

Watercolor lay down.
After lunch, we headed to Citygarden - an interactive 2 block area part of the Gateway Mall. We had fun playing in the water, dancing on the walls, and learning about the design. I swear people around us thought we were 4 years old. Unfortunately recess ended for us as the instructors assigned us plan views, sections, and thumbnails to do of Citygarden. Oh well, I guess just another excuse to go play in the fountains.
